We were going to ask a few questions about the laptop, but the man regarded us like we were extremely troublesome to him. When we cashed out, he wouldn't spare a glance at us and kept looking somewhere much farther behind us.
if there was 0 stars i would undoubtedly give it to them. we were looking for a Samsung monitor that i saw online and couldn't find it so we asked the staff, the staff member found it and the box looked very torn up, we drove all the way from Canada to buy it and and once we got home the screen wasn't even working, there was screen damage and the bottom right corner was completely damaged. the staff didn't even know that it didn't work, they just handed it to us. If you are reading this and all the other bad reviews about this store, i suggest you don't visit this store.
He even had the decency to check his phone while we were talking to him. It almost seemed like they do not want to serve us, since we are Asian. In the middle of helping us, he tended to another person even though we had asked him to help us with something first. This was absolutely the worst experience at Best Buy ever.
The staff is very attentive if you need help. I've even had a staff member show me how I could save more money before I made my purchase. One time I didn't have quite enough for what I wanted and one of the staff members bought the product for me! Very nice place..
The service was absolutely terrible, and we asked multiple employees, and each barely even gave us a glance. Finally, after we waited for almost twenty minutes, someone came along and loudly, almost yelled at us, asking what do we want.
Yesterday I went into this place for the second time in 2 months, the first time was to purchase an unlocked Galaxy s8 and the second being to have it repaired, yes I understand the rules and such, I didn't have insurance, but I literally had the simplest repair needed, and I was okay when they told me there hands were tied I remained calm, and asked for recommendations and other resolutions, the guy literally told me, You'd have to replace the phone. Mind you the only thing wrong with this phone is it's Volume key which jammed when the phone was dropped, this is and unlocked Galaxy s8, yes the price was 800 plus. And he basically told me to buy another for a jammed volume button, this is the rodent called Geek Squad by the way, that Best Buy employs to handle repairs. Also I did extensive research to find this to be a common problem even to the point where I found a s8 volume key replacement on mobile with a bunch of other replacement pieces, so I continued my stroll through the mall and found a small mobile repair store stand that told me, he could repair it for 40 to 80 bucks and even more if he finds the volume key had to be completely replaced. Moral of the story don't trust Geek Squad or this crooked Best Buy.
I've always thought Best Buy would be a decent place since it is such a big company. We wanted to buy a laptop, along with a mouse, that almost cost us thirteen hundred.
Customer service is appalling. Condescending and unhelpful. I'd recommend amazon...
